"We exist to equip all people to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ"
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind."
This is the great and foremost commandment.
The second is like it, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Matt. 22:37-39

What We Believe
Man has inherited a sinful nature from Adam and is unable to receive forgiveness from God except though Jesus His Son.
Jesus came to the earth to live a perfect life, He died on the cross for the redemption of man, and was raised from the dead by God.
After Jesus’ resurrection He spent forty days on the earth preparing His disciples to carry on His work. When He ascended into heaven, to sit at the right hand of God, He sent the Holy Spirit to help His disciples establish the Church.
Glenwood Baptist Church continues the work that Jesus started through the Holy Spirit. We are a group of baptized believes who encourages one another to follow Jesus’ commands and teachings and also encourages others to accept Jesus as their Lord and follow Him.
How to Have a Relationship with God
1. Admit to God that you are a sinner, separated from God, hopelessly unable to pay the penalty for your sin.
(Romans 3:23; 6:23)
2. Believe that Jesus is God's Son, that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin, that God raised Him from the
dead, and that He is your only hope of everlasting life. (John 3:16; Romanss 5:8-9)
3. Commit your life to the Lord, asking Him to control all aspects of your life and to save you from your sins and to give you
His gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10,13)
If you would like to ask Jesus into your life tell God something like the prayer below.
"Dear God,
Thank you for loving me. I confess that I am a sinner and I give up living for myself and start living for You.
I believe that your Son, Jesus, died on a cross to pay for my sin and that You raised Him from the dead. Jesus
will you come into my life to be Lord and Savior. I trust You alone to forgive me and take away all my sins.
Thank you for Your gift of eternal life! I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen"
